A short daily walk often accompanied by Violetta, Nick's donkey, to carry water and other essential supplies, over the rolling hills, the wild flower meadows and sweet chestnut groves of the sierra. An area of outstanding natural beauty with a wealth of wildflowers and birds. It has been likened to a sombrero - a central ridge with a hatband of pretty white villages.

The Walks are not strenuous and take place on good paths. They are suitable for any reasonably fit person. There is some uphill, but no scrambling! We walk for between 2 to 4hrs daily, 6 – 9 miles.

The walking is part of the weeks yoga practice so some of each walk is spent in silence.

The week aims to encourage a stillness of the mind. Amidst the pressure of modern living a chance to spend a week walking and practicing yoga surrounded by nature is a great luxury.

There are twice daily sessions of hatha yoga led by experienced teachers . It is suitable both for those that are relatively new to yoga and to those of you that are more experienced.

Price: €uro 900 per person, based on 2 people sharing a room.
