Finca el Moro is 1 hour north west of Seville. The nearest town of any size is Aracena. Seville is our nearest airport and train station.

The next closest airports are Malaga or Faro - Malaga is linked to Seville by a frequent high speed train or bus service that takes about 2.5 hours.

Links for timetables you'll find below. The airport is about 20 mins from the city centre linked by taxi (€21) or bus (€2.50)

Seville is very easy to get to - it is well served by airlines either directly from London or fly via Barcelona or Madrid and take one of the many daily internal flights.

From London the 2012 flight schedules are not that user friendly and the easiest way to arrive from London airports is on Saturday when there are 3 flights to choose from. Stay overnight and  enjoy an evening in the tapas bars of Seville, which is a wonderful town, and then we can all link up for a mid-afternoon colection from a central point on the Sunday. Please look at our staying in Seville pages for a list of hotels and apartments.

For those of you that don't want to stay overnight in Seville usually the best bet is a cheap flight to Barcelona of which there are hundreds to choose from from all over the UK and then an internal flight to Seville with either Ryan Air, Vueling, Easyjet
OR
A cheap flight to Madrid and then the internal flight offered by Iberia Express, http://www.iberiaexpress.com

For groups I can arrange collection from Malaga or Faro by private minibus, please ask for details. It costs approx €300 and takes 3 hrs

FROM SEVILLE TO THE FINCA.

We can make a group pick-up for guests coming on on a Riding or Walking Holiday or Yoga week from Seville airport or from a central point in the town with our local school bus for 15€.
We make one trip at the beginning of the week which tries to coincide with everyone's arrival to make it as convenient as possible for all - usually mid afternoon. it is always a good idea to speak to us before making your travel plans.

At the end of the week we leave the farm by 10.00 a.m. to get everyone back to Seville by 11.30 a.m. again at a cost of 15€. If those timings don't work we can make other private arrangements using Pepe's taxi (€110)  based in the village.

Otherwise ........Public transport............

There is a very good and reliable local bus that leaves Seville every day, from the Plaza des Armas Bus station at 0900 or 16.00 hrs and arrives at Fuenteheridos at 10.30 or 17.30. We'll pick you up from the village plaza in the Landrover.

The bus leaves Fuenteheridos for Seville at 0700 or 16.15  every day and arrives in Seville at 09.15 or 18.30,

If coming  by car we are 2.5 kms from the main road down a rough but serviceable farm track, if your car has very low clearance you will need to travel with care. For most vehicles it is fine but one takes it slowly and makes sure that "you didn't forget to buy the milk".......

BY CAR or ON FOOT FROM THE MAIN ROAD, 10 mins or 25 mins
    •    You don't have to actually enter the village of Fuenteheridos
    •    10 kms past Aracena on the N433 from Seville at the KM97 Post at the bottom of a long hill turn right onto an unsurfaced track
    •    Keep going on this track for 2.7 kms. you go down a cobbled hill and cross a ford and then up another small hill
    •    soon after this you arrive at a large fork in the track. the main track bears left BUT you go straight on up a hill in front of you
    •    up to the top and down the other side and you will arrive at Finca el Moro.

It is quite passable for ordinary cars but you must take it slowly and if you have a small car with lots of people and luggage slower still !!
